the front of my redingote, made outof brown velvet with a striped cotton petticoat. the whole redingote is lined (all trough)with a checked fabric in beige and brown. to it i have my newly made Gainsborough hat, it is my old big strawhat that i dressed in what black fabric i could find at home, then it is black velvet at the edges (took ages to sew on!!) and then i have some wolffur and a green silk ribbon as decoration!

eh, nope, i bought it at a regular party/makeup/wig store, it was a cheep partywig, big curly blond that i then cut to my liking, teesed and sprayed, and ofcourse powdered! didnt cost much at all, around 200sek.

Oh cool I've been thinking of doing that but I thought the cheap wigs would look just cheap.. They're usually kind of "shiny" if you know what I mean. But maybe it'll look better with powder.
